This Kijoshu is an elegant and luxurious high-quality sake with a sweet, rich and velvety flavour. A dessert sake similar to Sauternes, it has a similar nose to sherry or port with a honey-nutty-musky-mushroom aroma. It can be served with cheese, foie gras or steak and also poured over vanilla ice cream. The perfect aperitif or digestif, it is delicious served chilled, with soda or on the rocks.
